SS Robin is included in the National Historic Fleet, recognised and supported by the Department of Culture Media and Sport. She is one of the UK's ships of pre-eminent national importance, and only one of three Core Collection vessels in London alongside Cutty Sark and HMS Belfast

SS Robin is a traditional raised quarterdeck coastal cargo steamer built at the celebrated Thames Ironworks, Orchard House Yard in East London and launched in 1890. She is representative of an important and valued class of mercantile vessel and is the only complete example in the world of a coastal cargo steamer.
